Canyon Creek in December

This is a plein air painting of the creek at Murray Park. It took aprox 3 hours to paint on a Sunday afternoon. I was surprised at the number of photographers out taking family photos. I was attracted to the contrast of the dark water against the white snow. It was a cold but fun afternoon. 14x18 oil on canvas. Original work signed by the artist. Unframed. Produced in 2007.
