Artemis Fastidium II (Cancer)

Here we have Cancer, out of order I know, but this is actually a remix of the piece that inspired this series... so anyway, the story of Cancer involves a pitiful crab creature who sought to impress his mistress Hera by aiding in the Hydra's battle against Heracles by latching onto his leg to slow his wrath. The crab was quickly disposed of (as was the Hydra shortly there-after)and Hera sought to honor the poor thing with a place among the stars. Hence the crab is only a minor player in this piece, a sort of timid dweller of the background(like most crabs. The goddess most associated with the sign of Cancer and most likely true ruler of the house is Artemis the Archer. Her imagery is mixed with the usual representation of Cancer's personality and the green eyed beauty visible if you stand slightly back is the benevolent Hera
