This is so expressive. It makes a statement about captives and their longings. Having said that, though, I want to make it clear I'm not criticizing wolf preseves. This one, like the ones I've seen, looks like it gives the wolves large areas of their natural habitat to roam in, and the wolf looks healthy. To me, the picture expresses not the condition of this wolf per se, but an artistic depiction of captives.
