ESPERANZA

These are the eyes of a stray cat in the neighborhood that is just about near death. It seems someone left her out and does not care for her. A friend of mine did name her and tried to care for her but moved and did not take her with him. I can not get her to come to me. I have tried to feed her but she does not want food from me. One day I saw her on the fence in the backyard. I took some phtos of her. She is a fluffy haired thing, gorgeous but it seems no one wants to love her. Her beautiful coat is falling out and she is rail thin. Esperanza means hope. She reminds me so much of the way the world is sometimes. She reminds me of the lost souls in the world, the lost loves and the lost innocents. It hurts to see the creatures of the world uncared for. Beautiful Esperanza reminds me much of myself too, I know what it is like to be forgotten and out on the street. If anyone would like to care for her I could try to catch her and send her to you. I am allergic to cats otherwise I might consider caring for her. Where I live right now it is not possible to have a cat anyway plus I already have a dog. Please think about Esperanza. Love Christine

I am waiting for UR new work.......always unique!

Artist Reply: Greetings Barry! Thank you so much for visiting my pages. I appreciate the time you took and your thoughts. It is my blessing to meet you here. Unfortunately I do not have a PC of my own and it is difficult these days for me to upload any new work. I was using my xroomates and then one of my sisters' let me use her PC for a while... but for almost 6 months now I do not have my own PC. Don't know when I will be able to purchase one. That is why I have not upoaded any new work for a while but, I do like to try to see what some others are doing, so I CHECK IN FROM TIME TO TIME WHEN I CAN. God Bless you in all you do and keep you safe in the Arms of Christ!!! Live Always Love Forever. Sinseerly CB

I love the name,if you could get this close-she trusts you, leave her some goatmilk in her favorite "hold-out",she will be fine-GREAT SHOT!!

Artist Reply: Hello, Marja, unfortunately I do not live in Esperanzas' area anymore. I moved from California back to Wisconsin. This lovely creature is lost to the streets, she is a beautiful one but, was close to death when I saw her. I wanted so much to do something but , could not call the animal shelter (because they usually end up dead there too and back then I was hoping for someone to want her or trying to capture her, however, I could not reach her, she was just elusive enough to stay out of grasp) or save her... since I had to leave the state. Now I can only speculate as to what happened to this sweet soul. And believe me it grieves my heart. I wish that people would not do this to the helpless animals. But we don't even treat our own kind better than this either sometimes. Woe is the way of the World without Love. I just wanted to post this phto as a reminder for myself and others who do not care or who do. Our Hope, "Esperanza is in Love". Thanks for looking at my site and for your caring comment. God Bless you richly in all you do. Live Forever. Sinseerly Christine

Cats choose the people they want to live with rather than the other way around. All you can do is leave food where she can get it. If she can get enough food she'll do ok till she decides where she wants to go next. Its very sad when people betray animals but thats what a lot of people do Christine. With a little luck & your help she'll do ok. Superb image.

Local SPCA would probably help,...I feel the same with cats in my neighborhood,....fortunately for all them a very caring woman across the street from me must love them beyond what I could because when she walks her dog around the block her cats follow her around the block too!!!! hehe ,...a prayer for her (and those forgotten on our streets in this world!!!),....in Jesus Name,...amen.

Christine: I rescued a black cat from the streets some 12 years ago and our relationship has continued to blossom. Good luck with your adoption process. "Joey"

I hate seeing any animal mistreated. Alas, I too, am alergic however, my wife has taken in four and my in-laws, who live with us, have three. All our cats were strays that wandered into our lives. I wish you well for your efforts.

Very Touching, Christine! Poor Souls. They are Everywhere! If Everyone was responsible We would not have these problems, I'm sure You Know! In Ottawa at Our Parliment Buildings there is a Place for some Stray Cats! There's even an Official Cat Keeper for them! Hopefully this Soul will find a Good Home! Thanks for sharing this!

Hi there dear Christine...impressive portrait of ESPERANZA...It's sad that there are cats who has no one to feed or care for them,in our world..its the same everywhere unfortunately...Some care...some less.Perhaps if she would live near us,she might find an home...although also here alot on the street. Its even more sad to me...that some people does not know this beautiful charming pet...or object other people doing for cats..You already know that me as my family are ALL Cats lovers...my parents feed a group of outsiders at their small garden 2-3 times a day.The other day few days ago,my parents neighbor is about 40 ,a lawyer ,not so clever,if i may say so...He saw my father feeding the cats outside and said to my father...: "why are you feeding those cats "...Well...it only can show how "CLEVER" He is...Yesterday at my exhibition came several cat or animals lovers ..one told us she also feed cats outsiders...and she said also some people asked her the same question..WHY SHE FEED THE CATS..She answered..."when i feed these cats...do i take from your meal ...?..." I will ask - Without us who will feed these outsiders cats..WHO?..I wish many more people would adopt these splendid and so charming pets..it can bring so much happiness and relaxing and love...I'm so happy with my cats truly...I wish other will do the same...as well as education...but then look at that neighbor of my parents...he has 2 kids...what do they learn from him...i wonder...Some outsiders cats afraid from people...but always a food can be put ,left for them..and simply go,watch from far you'll see them eat. They'll eat.Dramatic and awesome portrait with splendid text added.
