Silk on Milk

About the photo:  I could not help to give this stunning worm this title.  These amazing little creatures can make the finest SILK and it was feeding on MILK-WEEK.  I found it very fascinating as it crawled and munched on the leaves.  I also could not tell where the head and tail was, since this is the defence mechanism of the species during predator attacks.  While looking for juicy worms the birds do not know which end to grab, since they would attempt to go for the end.  Since the end mimics the front, these juicy crawlers can get quite large as they birds do stay away.  AMAZING!! Dont you think?

This specimen was about 2 inches in length and I could not walk away until I snapped a few shots for my keepsake and visual pleasure.

Result: A stunning and colourful picture perfect photo.
