Artist Reply: thanks dear man for your concern and the lovely comment; this was taken last summer before the mishap, but the arm is healing well; the splint is not required any longer except for added protection and it has been just four weeks; it was x-rayed this week and the orthopedist was happy with my progress; it is so much easier using both hands (and arms) again; it is mostly stiff when trying to extend it fully after being bent at the elbow for that time; hope things are moving along well for you and your wife...best to you :)
