This is an image, directly inspired on an illustration of Maurice Sendak, so he should get most of the credit! He is one of my favourite childrens-book-illustrators. He is mostly known from "Where the Wild Things Are" This image here is from "Sarah´s room". Most of this image really is almost copied from Sendak´s work, I just changed some minor details. And oh yes, I´ve changed the child into a dead child.
