A friend of mine was telling me this week how her niece's corgi has the uncanny ability to leap 5 feet straight into the air but seems to lack the ability to rescue himself when high-centered on a pillow or, in some unfortunate cases, the unsuspecting visitor on a patio lounge chair. Needless to say, short-legged little Tucker's misadventures inspired a painting. "The Exercise Ball" is a delightfully whimsical little piece painted on a highly-collectible 4 x 4 inch stetched canvas for the delight of the Welsh Pembroke Corgi or canine enthusiast. Original in the private collection of L. Bowman.
