Helios

About the painting:  I painted this one in 2002, it's a section of one called "THE UNIVERSE" zoomed in on.  It is a section I love to look at and reminds me of the sun hence the name "HELIOS", which means SUN GOD or Greek term for GOD.

The colours are bright and fiery just like my personality.  I am a very passionate person and it loudly speaks through my works.  I am also a mother and using rich and vibrant colours make my children happy as well.

Dimension: The original piece is 59"x28" (150x71 cm) and the section zoomed in on is only about 10"x12" in high quality digital image.  This will make a great copy even on canvas, which I plan to print for myself.

Choice of my colour palette: I used all the warm tones to create the HEAT effect in this section and a bit of cool blues to create balance.

Result: A burst of flaming and radiant sun, reaching into the universe with its sun flares.

I chose this one because I can feel and see myself in this very strong, wonderful piece of art! Can we see the whole painting once?
