Artist Reply: Thank you! I returned to Yosemite last Spring and made it to the top of Vernal Falls. I am working on a larger painting of that falls with hidden bears in the background! (see my "27 Bears" painting in this portfolio.

Artist Reply: THANK YOU! I WAS THERE THAT YEAR, AND IT IS A STUNNING VIEW OF OUR GEM OF A NATIONAL PARK. THIS WAS DIFFICULT TO CAPTURE IN AN 11 X 14 OIL PAINTING, BUT I AM HAPPY WITH THE RESULT. THAT DOES NOT ALWAYS HAPPEN! BUT IT IS ALWAYS WORTH A TRY.
