Your style suggests paint-under-paint in much the same way a billboard offers glimpses of other older billboards as it ages. Your work isn't so much composed as de-composed. ;) Add to this a subtle palette and the fact that this looks vaguely like me (save that my mouth, at least, is 'centered') and you have a 'lost' work that has 'found' its niche. Artist Reply: I like your analogy of the old billboard! Its like life as we get older...There has been a lot of erosion throughout our lives and new layers form to cover up the past but who we really our is deep underneath the layers...
