I decided to paint a companion for my 'Ballerina' painting and chose to interpret this image that I have had for some time. I have painted it the same size (10"x14") as my other ballerina so they should make a good pair. I worked the ref. image in photo shop to create the mood and drama I think it has worked out well. I have been working on Art Spectrum Colourfix of late but I find I keep returning to Canson Mi-Teintes for my more fine and detailed work. Various soft pastels on Canson Mi-Teintes, 10"x14"
