Lady Death oil on paper 12x16

3 1/2 hrs of painting it took to render this. I was not aiming for perfection, just honing my skills at quick rendering in oil. Perfection comes with repetition. Not much detail, but there again, I was aiming for speed.

I couldn't do the line art for this in 3 hours let alone paint it!! Great work Michael!!

Artist Reply: Thank You Patrick, and yes....you could! But only one way to do it. Not be intimidated. Throw out all rules that confine you. And just begin to start trowing on and blending colors together, light to dark, and like a feather barely touching the surface...blend! Ssssh! It's a secret! ;) Michael Miles Artistry
