Under the wharf

I took this photo last summer while I was in Salt Spring Island. It was such a beautiful day, just as I was leaving I saw the heron & snapped a shot. He looked so peaceful under the wharf.

Wonderful image. I love the mood of this shot, the great capture of this curious heron integrated into your photo of the ocean and distressed and weathered wood. This is so atmospheric and refreshing.
