This three piece wall hanging is a story from the bible, I can't remember which book I read it from but A man was in a war that his army was loosing and prayed to God that if he let his army win he would sacrifice the first person who greated him when he got back into his village. After the prayer the man's army took a glorious victory, and the man's army proudly marched back to their village. Upon entering the village the man's young daughter saw her father approaching and ran to him with pure excitement, the man so in love with his daughter quickly through his arms around her and held her tight, only to follow by greaat greif remembering the promis he made to God. When the daughter asked what his saddness was about he explained his oath. The girl lovingly comforted her father and asked to go on a mourning trip into the mountians with the other woman to moarn her young life ending. Afterwords the faithful woman came back into camp and finished the oath the man had made.............This story has always torn me apart, and pulled me in so many different dirrections. It is one of the most emotional storys in the old testiment. The man has amazing faith, but the girl has amazing strength.
