Artist Reply: Thanks Bruce..this is one of my faves. Especially since it is mouse drawn. Another computer artist said it must be like drawing with a bar of soap! lol. This is one I am buying a print myself of..need it on my wall! They are coi from my Sister in Law's pond.

I use Paint Shop Pro 8 and it was done by hand using a photo as reference to draw from. These fishies were drawn from scratch with a mouse lol. There is a feature on the tools in that program that allows you to soften or sharpen an image. Using the soften and translucent hues of blues over the bottom fish, I was able to obtain the illusion of depth. Thank you for your comments :)
