FAVORITE COLOR

WHY WHY WHY DO YOU HAVE TO DO THAT... MAKE ME BLUE, MAKE ME SAD, ACT LIKE A STINKING RAT, SAY THOSE COLD COLD THINGS, TALK SO BRUTAL BE SO BAD...TALKING THAT WAY ABOUT ME, DOES IT MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD, RIGHTEOUS ROCKWOOD, LIKE YOU ARE SMART, TOP THE CHARTS...WHY WHY WHY DO YOU DO THOSE THINGS YOU DO, MAKE ME FEEL BLUE. YOU THINK I DON'T KNOW, DON'T HAVE EYES, BUT I KNOW ABOUT ALL YOUR LIES. I DON'T CARE, BE A FOOL, BE UNFAIR. SLANDER ME WHEN I AIN'T THERE. I WILL LEAVE YOU TO YOURSELF, YOUR CRUEL HEART... GOTTA MAKE A NEW START, JUST RIDE AWAY TO A BRIGHTER DAY...EVEN THOUGH BLUE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE COLORS.

I can relate to seeing animals in "zoo's", while some do have wonderful conservation programs, if you will, others are horrible! Treatment is inhumane....I like how you have this blue - sad really. Great artwork to bring out the emotions!

Dear Christine...this used to be once my favorite colour too, I used to wear cloths in this colour also...But i'm changing all the times..it's also fashions that comes and goes. This work is STUNNING, Absolutely..magical and imaginative...I simply LOVE IT. By the way, this is Yarin's MOST FAVORITE Colour..and since he's sitting here, I show it to him, and he love it too...Have a beautiful loving blessed day ,NIRA

This is beautiful, that colours are... wow!! And the title too- chestnut blue! Thanks for your nice comments Christine!

Artist Reply: Hello Sonja! thank you for liking this one. This is Chestnut, a horse that was at a petting zoo in Fon Du Lac., Wisconsin, a town close to where I live. Even though I loved his chestnut color I felt like he was sad that day. It was hot and he had to be in a small area. I felt like he really wanted to be running along a beach somewhere instead but he had his duties there. I could relate to his mood. When the keeper called him he did not want to come and grimaced whenever he walked by. Maybe the guy was not so nice to him sometimes, I am not sure. Maybe Chestnut was tired that day. Anyway I changed his colOr to blue, it seemed to fit. I wrote a poem for him and me since i am a Sagittarian and felt like him that day. I hope that all your blues are comforting and serene. God Be with you Sister. Sinseerly Christine

Christine, I have been told that when there is spiritual work to be done, the cloak is always a rich and deep blue. Lovely color and the image is mystical. Great work. The narrative makes me think that a message needed to be sent. I hope it is received well. My affection and God's blessings. Miguel
