Artist Reply: Thank you kindly for those words Gabriele! There are so many fallen hero's not only from this war but so many others before it. Sometimes we need to take a moment to reflect on those who have given the biggest sacrifice of all. Their memory will live on forever in our hearts.

Artist Reply: Thanks for the comment Bianca. When I 'captured' this shot i thought of a friend of mine. He's been serving several different times in this crazy war. He is whole as a man but his spirit is tattered and torn. I dream he finds serenity and comfort though the destructive images in his head. My thoughts go out to all these brave men & woman who are battling though the unheard.
