View from Afghanistan

This is a view only to be found overseas in Afghanistan. Perched on top of a building in an urbanized zone, looking out for the 'bad guys'. This piece has been revised and is now available for viewing in my portfolio.

Is the forehead a little high? Great expression on the face. A refection of the landscape.

Artist Reply: Hi, Jerry! Yes, you are absolutely right! This was revised with a more acurate forehead...how embarrassing--poor guy! :) Hope your day goes great! -Kerra

Wonderful portrait in just a few stokes. I like the off-center composition which makes the landscape an important part of the work. The earth tones evokes something of the lunar landscape.

Artist Reply: David--thank you so much for your very detailed comment on this piece. I love getting feedback on what works, (and sometimes more importantly, what DOESN'T work) from peers. Very helpful! Hope your day goes great! -Kerra
