Color among the bland

Out mushroom hunting with my family, although I hate mushrooms, I found this small flower with a tiny bud behind it and thought the contrast between the bark and the bright purple was wonderful. I couldnt resist taking a picture of it. And of course, with my many distractions I fell behind the group many times taking pictures.
