Its been awhile since I've uploaded one of my portraits so I thought I'd put this one up.

This is Schnitzel and I did not know him but one look in his eyes tells me all I need to know. He was one of those gentle honest horses.. intelligent.. companion. His owner had photos of him being ridden and driven he did it all. Sadly he got old like they all do and it was time for him to leave us... leaving his owner heart broken. I know it all too well. His eyes remind me so much of my best friend Lady I lost in 1994. I can tell they had similar personalities.

Schnitzel, please say hi to my Lady wherever you are! Tell her I miss her.
