To comment on your comment, Frank, I'd say this is a folk art painting, not a cartoon. It is beautiful in all it's color and little details.
Artist Reply: I would say Jessica that this is probably the worst painting I have ever done. I was trying for better but I didn't have the technique to achieve the results I desired, but it is kind of you to see some good in my effort and somebody bought it so it cant have been all bad. I do worry though, that he might have been going blind.
