A birthday present for my beloved Kevin Deane (aka. Kaioshade) and the first nearly from scratch digital work I've ever accomplished with Photoshop CS2. I'm so very proud of it, and of Kev for being there for me for so long. For this image, I just thought of the many things that made me think of Kev: White-haired adrogynous warriors (his favorite types of characters), the color blue, and his famous blue katana. Those who know him personally will understand the deeper symbolisms.
