Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn

Greetings fellow artists and art lovers here with ArtWanted. Here is a red ballpoint pen ink drawing of the famed artist Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn. Rembrandt certainly is one of my all time heros of the art world. He worked with dark colors mostly so I did this in red as a change of pace because I am a colorist. Hopefully this portrait works well you you fine folks or people within this great art forum! Jerry Stith

Not so sure he worked with dark colors Jerry. The problem was the thick yellowing varnish, Intended to protect but did more harm than good. He could make color sing like no other artist. Good drawing here.
