Rosebay Willowherb

One of my favourite flowers which grows wild here in the UK. I use this drawing for my own logo.

Beautiful... is it what they call fireweed in north america? I apologize for my scarce botanical knowledge ;)

Artist Reply: Hello again Cristina - you are right willowherb is fireweed - I think it is a slightly different species but they are very similar! So you see your botanical knowledge is better than you thought! I just love this flower - I think they are just as good as any that you buy at a nursery! They are very common in the UK and grow in great masses, especially on waste ground. Thanks again Jane

Lovely colors, details and expression!

Artist Reply: Thanks for all your kind comments about my drawings. I think your work is outstanding - I don't know how you do it with ball-point pen - it must be very hard to work with. Well done!
