Blooming Tigers

Yesterday a couple of my tiger lily flowers decided to bloom and I thought I would share their beauty with everyone. The bees & bugs have been having a blast sucking the nectar and collecting pollen.

Kandice, I can't thank yo enough for commenting on my photo, as it allowed me to find you!! What an amazing gallery you have here! You are truly inspired and talented! I love your views you posted in your "profile" and must tell you, I couldn't agree more and could not have said it better myself! I find your survival of cancer a true inspiration and know in my heart you are still hear to share your art, energy and love of life for many to witness and learn from! So happy to meet you my friend! Have a wonderful weekend, lookforward to spending more time in your gallery enjoying your amazing work and wonderful descriptions! Take care! Laurie :)

Artist Reply: Laurie, Your message brings me to tears. You are so sweet. There is a sang that I went by when I was so sick battling a few different things... "what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger" The past several years of my life have been so full of life events. Some good some bad. To me they were all a lesson in life. I can choose to look at this world with anger and hate because of what is happeneing. Or, I can choose to love it, help to heal our mother and take away her sorrow. I'm very thankful for your comments. I love to meet like minded people (and non-like also LOL) and make new friends. The only friends I have where I live are the ones nature has provided me with. I am thankful for these though. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have them around. Thank you so much again Laurie! Peace, Love & Light, Kandice

great looking tiger lilys!

Artist Reply: Thanks Joe! I planted this flower 2 years ago and it was only about 4 inches tall. Now the buds are as big as the plant was when I first got it. It just goes to show what a little light, water & love can produce. :-) Peace, Love & Light, Kandice
