Barbie Almalbis - Two

A pastel painting of Philippine pop / rock star Barbie Almalbis on stage with her guitar. This was my second attempt at this painting. (Chai, my eldest daughter prefers this one to the first - but I prefer my original attempt at this.) It was copied from an advertisement for Golds Gym that appeared in the Philippine Star of May 15, 2006. Barbie Almalbis is one of my favorite Filipina pop / rock stars. She looks great, she is a very intelligent girl and she is a highly accomplished musician! (She's also very fit - thanks apparently to Golds Gym!)

Artist Reply: Ok! Well, looking at my keyboard, the "t" is in fact right next to the "y"...!! :) All I can say is I wish I'd been busy with busts!! (Sorry... I just could't help that one!) ;-)
