This is a portriat of a dog we used to own called Matches. Once again my scanner mucked it up. (Even more so on this one than on the one of buddy) Particularly on this image I wanted the fur to be really light and the eyes/shadows really dark to bring the focal point of the image to the eyes. This looks really good on the orignial but not so good when scanned by my crappy scanner. Because of this it was darkened in photoshop (the lower image is the un-darkened version) so you could see the detail.
