Snowdon Road

This is a very steep road that runs up mount Snowdon in North Wales, I hope you do get that impression, as it's not a easy thing to capture on paper. 2.5x3.5 on cotton paper Copyright © Steph Salt

Yes, I do get the impression of going uphill with your fine capture of the incline. Another very fine work of art from you.

Artist Reply: Thank you for saying so Vivian, I think that perhaps I have been too close to it, and can't see it the way you can? *Hugs!*

Congrats for the success of your WDE, Steph! This is really a lovely painting. And if you grant me permission to use your photo as a reference, I think I will have a go at painting it as well.

Artist Reply: Thank you Greg, and you can :D *Hugs!*

What a beautiful scene! I love this one and it's depth, the colors lovely!

Artist Reply: Thank you Terry, but don't you mean the height? LOL! Sorry couldn't resist it *Hugs!*

This is really wonderful Steph... it has a 'familiar' feeling to it as I gaze at it.. It feels like a warm summer day to me, and makes me want to wander down that country road... Excellent rendering! :o)

Artist Reply: Thank you Les, but if you were to wander along this road I hope that your legs are strong because it is extreemly steep :D I'm not kidding either. It's one of those roads that if you saw a car driving up it, you would wonder how it manages to keep it's front end on the road, and not tumble backwards. I haven't done it justice really :D
