this is a very interesting picture, i believe. this came about backwards, actually. its sort of ironic that it would appear that the order the objects were drawn would be the finger, leaf, then the pencil. this is not so. i actually began from a strange urge to draw a pencil, and then i had a line coming from it and then the finger came, and then the leaf. borders continue to beat the crap out of me, for some reason, its never straight, even though i use a ruler and actually measure it! but anyways, i was listening to Ben Folds Five "smoke" so thats where the title comes from. its a good song, you guys should check them out. anyway, i hope you like it. tell me what you think!
