I love the winter path idea. Unfortunately this is not the most obvious path. I went to VT 2/25/06, and it snowed while we drove my little Saturn Ion up there(Should have used an SUV, right). 4 hours from New Bedford, but 2 1/2 driving in snow to the Green Mountains of VT in a small sedan. Anyway the next morning after my little car arrived successfully, I woke up and went for a walk on these trails near our Inn. I was one of the first on them in the fresh 6-8 inches of snow. The trails are cross country ski trails which I have never seen in CT or MA (where I have lived). i loved this morning, it was awesome!
