Happy

This is a painting I did last summer. This is actually one of my favorite paintings because I did it simply based shapes and a color combination that made me feel happy. And everytime I look at it, I feel happy. Haha...maybe I like it so much because it was intuitive and based on emotion whereas all my other paintings have materialized from a cognitive and analytical part of me.

Great expression turned visual. I also see David's opinion that the happiness has emerged from a darker place. I love to see work like this that is expressive rather than contrived. Keep it up.

The expression of happiness comes from a place of happiness that is just a true. I'm glad to see this painting. There is real hope. -- But I also see a darker, if not painful, side to it as well (my interpretation). But there again, when we are at one with our whole selves good and bad, then there is a chance for real peace. So I still say "it is a happy painting". Good job.
