This is a portrait of Spalding Gray, actor, writer, and story teller extrordinaire. He's probably most well known for his film Swimming To Cambodia. He was brilliantly funny, neurotic, and painfully honest about himself, life, love, and the quest for the perfect moment. He popularized the all-about-me type monologue, sitting at a table with only a notebook and a glass of water, he was mesmerizing. His other films include Gray's Anatomy and The Terrors of Pleasure. His book titles include Sex and Death to the Age Fourteen, and The Impossible Vacation.
