Jar of Marbles

This painting depicts a clear jar filled with a variety of marbles resting upon a wooden table, with one large marble placed outside the jar. With this piece I was interested in analyzing the effects of distortion caused by the glass as well as capturing the play of lights and shadows upon the surface of the objects.
