CALM RED RAYS

8 x 10 in. canvas with acrylics and oils mixed. It took more then a year before it was completed. (For Now) The frame used to have a picture of me river rafting and accidentally leaned this painting against it one day, and it was perfect.

The photograph/jpg. has glare on it, making it difficult to see the color relationships of the painting. Also the frame distracts visually instead of providing visual support to the image of the painting. The gold leaf carved part of the frame would probably work if you got a new liner to replace the linen liner, and eliminated the dark outer frame around the gold leaf frame.

The quality of the picture doesn't give justice to the painting.
