Dungeness River Railroad Bridge

Looking through the top of the Dungeness River Railroad Bridge. The Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railway (later the Milwaukee Road) built this bridge across the Dungeness River in 1915 and provided rail service until 1980. A successor line called the Seattle and North Coast Railroad operated until 1985, when the train rumbled across the bridge.
