This is a drawing from the late eighties when I was practicing pencil techniques. It is still a favorite of mine.I wanted to put it up to show my variety in mediums.

Your work is very Good, I'm sure glad that I taught you how to hold a pencil. Keep up the good work,Sis. Lou-Guitar

Artist Reply: Hey Bubba! Glad you came and looked over some of my stuff. And that was from 87 too. A profressional artist, John Doyal became my mentor in 87. Mom and I used to go downtown Charleston every week to see him. He helped alot as you can see. Basically he told me to draw everything I see...no matter what is was. Hopefully we can visit so I can show you my sketchbook. But yeah, you and Grandpa T I attribute alot of my passion for art now.:)

Beautiful work Kristof. lovely details and very nice shadows and light. :)

Artist Reply: thank you Kathi :) I am glad it was looked at..because on my brower the thumbnail isn't showing and I worried that may deter some from viewing.

Bravo Kristof...i toured your portfolio and have to say that this is a piece of treasure in talent, skill, emotion, mood and fine art work...I got a nomadic artist mood from your other works.... i would love to see more of your pencil work... always remember that the drawing skills can be the birthplace of growth in painting or designwork... lovely piece : )

It is really beautiful, would be my favourite too:) I especially like how yo used the contrast between the dark and white areas to enhance the subject.
