Moon Over Torre Norte

You have seen Las Torres in Chile in glorious morning light in my gallery. Here is a photo from the day before, when I climbed up to the lake below the peaks for the first time. The half moon was going down over the north tower in a beautiful blue sky. I used a polarizing filter to maintain the deep blue on the film. Minolta 801si alpha, 100-300mm lens, Fujichrome Provia 100, polarizing filter, no colour manipulation. Copyright Peter Skov.

This is a wonderful shot. Unique location, well captured. Would have liked to see a little bit bigger picture of it, but it's still great!

Artist Reply: Thanks, Christina. I currently use this image as my screen saver. It looks good big. But when viewing the images online I can never see the whole image at once if it's too big. So, I'll be uploading my images a little smaller from now on.

Beautiful work Peter.

Artist Reply: Thanks you Reba. Nature created the scene. I was just there to capture it. Thanks for introducing me to Art Wanted too. It's been fun so far.
