MEDIUM/GROUND: Acrylic and watercolour pencil on canvas.

SIZE: 24"X36"

DESCRIPTION: At the heart of Wicca lays diversity. Within the magickal items shown in this piece are elements that express that diversity, including a hand made mask of a cat face and a Pacific Native American clay ring drum with purple leather srands. Also a tiny silver pentagram pendant rides the curling ribbon. The background colors blend smoothly through the scene.

Artist Reply: I used to have a live-in shop of sorts and folks often wanted items that weren't for sale. So I'm working on creating a series where the subject are some of those items. It often prooves challenging to place them into a composition that works and has a relevancy of some sort (which is always important to me).
