Consistently voted among the top 5 most beautiful flowering trees in the world, the Royal Poinciana deserves this accolade. It may be the most colorful flowering tree as well. Related to the Tamarind and Mimosa tree, this native of Madagascar is a tropical paradise with many attributes. In early summer ( about now ) the gorgeous red blooms would start to appear and remain for a period of up to 8 weeks. This large example grew in my garden in Bermuda  now and captured in digital Oils.
