Life or Death?

At first glance you might think that thousands of Elephant Seals have been washed ashore and died. On closer inpection you will see signs of life. These are in-fact, jueviniles that are just doing what kids do when play time is over... laying around. An amazing site to see... they stretched the coast of CA for miles and miles...

This reminds me of the time I approached a sleeping sealion, thinking it was dead... I went up to him/her very close, and sort of woke up the happily sleeping sealion... should have seen me jump..LOLL
