Master Copier

A picture of an artist copying a painting of Renoir's 'The path in the grass' in the Musee D'orsay in Paris (France). To be able to copy the Old Masters in the gallery you have to be a member of the federation of copyists.

Interesting photo. The copy is good, too. Copies also need to be either smaller or larger than the original and signed as a copy. You do learn a lot from copying the masters, but at some point, it is still you private image that matters, not the masters.
