Yet another incredible painting from your amazing portfolio. I so look forward to seeing your paintings and you never disappoint me. In this picture my eye is drawn to the dark water and its shadowy reflections. This is in sharp contrast with the light areas in background. The strong, deep colours of umbers and hooker's green on the boats unify the painting overall. We can hear voices calling to each other, hear the slapping of the water against the bobbing boats and smell the acrid smoke of cigarettes. Lovely!

I love the attention to detail, you take a person there! ..the people moving about, but in no hurry, the gently bobbing boats awaiting the next passengers, the tall appartment buildings in the distance... totally Excellent watercolour!! :o)
