a brief history of christianity

This began as another random abstract background. The figure of Jesus jumped out at me and from there I pretty much knew where I'd take this. I've been wondering how it is we've accepted a belief system that has been so corrupted and poluted through time that it resembles little of its origin. The god of Abraham dropped in on him, god was that connected to man. Now our sense of god has been so distilled and removed from the average person that we require intermediaries on our behalf. I'd love to return to the god close enough to drop by for a chat. Meanwhile this became my commentary on christianity as I've seen it further distorted in my brief lifetime. It is not meant as an attack on Christians, but as a statement about those who would use our dogmas for their own personal gain.
