Artist Reply: Thank you so much Vernonette! I really appreciate that! I have not been much for drawing portraits-done more of my Indian art,but trying to do more and more and get away from Indian art though that is very difficult as it is what comes out of me naturally. This Prince portrait though is quickly becoming one of my favorites I have done and yes, he was so brilliant-I miss him too. There is a huge void in our world that he used to fill. I am a Singer/songwriter/musician as well. I have to finish the ear,darken/fill in more hair,do something with this color/coat (was going to add some Purple in it and leave the rest Black and white-the paper is white but looks darker due to my bad cell phone camera.;-) Will probably ad some clouds/smoke/fog maybe in the space and thought of having maybe a small dove flying out of it. But maybe not ha ha! Will see as t goes along. Thank you again and have a wonderful day Vernonette!
