These are some photos I took when the Carnival Miracle transited Gatun Locks last Week, Wednesday. We sat in Gatun Lake a few hours and transited back out in the sun. It was raining in the morning when we entered Gatun Locks. I destroyed my right knee water skiing in Gatun Lake around the ships awaiting transit of the Panama Canal when the left ski came off. I was born in Panama City Republic of Panama and grew up on the Canal Zone in Balboa on the Pacific side. Gatun is on the Atlantic side.
