1732 Night Bloomers

I have these miniature night blooming cereus in some pots in my yard. They are beautiful at night and smell very nice too. The painting was painted in a negative manner, the lightest parts of the painting are painted first, and gradually going darker and darker. The dark background is painted last. This one is less painting knife painted, I mostly used a brush or three. The painting is oil on canvas, mounted on masonite 8.50 x 11 inches.
