Cargo-boat in the tropics

He was sixty, I was twenty, professionally we sometimes spend many hours in the car ... and he told me of his former life, as freight broker in the tropics, many years ago. Obvious a very adventurous career. Image size: 260 x 360 mm

TROPICS WHERE, IVO? THE BACKGROUND LOOKS LIKE PANAMA, BUT THE PIER/DOCK DO NOT. BEAUTIFUL AS ALWAYS.

Artist Reply: I have no idea Sharon, the man in question was an orphan, and especially those people, were recruited in those days, by purchasers and merchandisers for overseas jobs in distant and dangerous places. He worked everywhere over the world between the early thirties and end of the fifties, he even spend a year in jail in China, but he worked especially in Africa. As for me , I like the sphere of all this and I found the picture (in black and white) in an old magazine that shows how far must have gone.
