Lotus Pond in Kerala, India

I have started this original landscape in 2017, soon after I came back from my first trip to India. I was at the Poonthottam Ayurveda Ashram in Kerala. This trip impacted me deeply inside and outside. While in Kerala I was at plein air everyday and finished a few paintings, most of which were bought right on the spot. Back at home I did a few others based on the photographs. On this one I was working for two years.
