Previous 349 of 466 Next

The 1968 Dodge Charger was an American mid-size automobile. It was a complete departure (style-wise) from Dodge's mainstream cars. The first generation efforts wanted to look elegant & swanky but this was abandoned in favor of a double-diamond coke bottle profile (curves around front fenders & rear quarter panels) that included a spoiler rear end. The fastback roof styling gave way to the flying buttress look for the rear window similar to the1966-67 Pontiac GTO.
